THREE of Stratford AC’s best road runners set PBs to help the men finish fifth and women a fantastic third in the Kenilworth Half Marathon.
Tim Hutchinson was a storming first home for Stratford, 6th overall, 1st M45 in a personal best time of 1:18.14, followed closely by Kate Wright, (1:21.30, 13th,) who added yet another double first (1st female, 1st F45) and personal best to her seemingly endless list.
Graham Taylor (1:24.24, 27th, 6th V45) and Sarah Wheeler (1:25.47, 39th, 2nd F35) were close to their best, while Phil Howell (1:26.16, 42nd, 9th M45) was the third of Stratford’s runners to record a PB.
David Smyth (1:29.34, 69th, 19th M45) and Waleed Agabani (1:31.42, 87th, 25th M35) also produced fast and consistent performances as did a relatively new member of the club, Sheila Barbour (1:34.02, 119th, 3rd F45).
