STRATFORD moved up into seventh place in Birmingham League Division Two thanks to a second win of the campaign at bottom side Stourbridge on Saturday.
The hosts batted first and opener Alex Bingham led the way in style with a fine knock of 100, receiving good support from captain Matthew Bradley (77) in a fourth-wicket partnership of 129.
Mike Brown took 2-62 and Adrian Witts 3-62, whilst economical bowling from James Urquhart (2-39 off 12 overs) helped keep the home side to 237-8 off their 55 overs.
There were solid contributions throughout the Stratford reply including 41 from opener Andrew Fisher, but the star of the show was David Bailey whose unbeaten 104 off just 106 balls included 11 fours and two sixes.
At 223-7 there was still some work to do but Bailey ensured the visitors got over the line on 239-7 in the 53rd over to collect the maximum 24 points.
The Panthers host fourth placed Wombourne on Saturday.
