GSH UNITED closed to within two points of leaders Henley Forest of Arden after Ash Wilson bagged a second half winner at AFC Stratford Town in Stratford Alliance Division One.

Wilson collected Kevin Ingram’s pass to slot home the decider on 58 minutes in a 2-1 win in Tiddington. GSH had struck first with a first-time volley on the half-hour but Connor Upton levelled before the break.

The result leaves GSH third in the table, two points behind Henley who have two games in hand.

Michael Ashford, Benjamin Higgins and Omar Pennicott were the Redditch scorers, with Emmanuel Atugo netting twice for Ajax and Harry Edgington-Furlong also on target.

Redditch Borough continued their perfect record in Division Two with an eighth win in eight matches.

Second-placed Borough sit ten points behind leaders Bretforton Old Boys, with six games in hand, after a 3-0 victory at Inkberrow Academy. Callum Ribbans scored twice, with Neil Hawkins getting the other.

Tysoe United chalked up only their second league win of the season as goals from Alex Davis, Michael Drummond and Jordan Rooke sealed a 3-0 verdict at AFC Alcester Town.

Leaders Bretforton Old Boys progressed to the Division Two KO Cup semi-finals with a 5-0 win at home to Shottery United which secured a 9-3 overall scoreline.

Bottom of the table Blockley Sports also reached the last four after a 3-3 draw at FISSC Reserves took them through 7-6 on aggregate.
