DARTS - Hall just misses out on MODUS Super Series Finals Night

STRATFORD’S Graham Hall came up just short in his attempt to reach Finals Night in the inaugural MODUS Super Series Champions Week.

Hall was placed in Group A and finished second behind eventual tournament runner-up Graham Usher.

The Stratford darts player won 10 of his 15 games at the start of the week to collect 20 points and advance to Group B.

However, he was only able to win two of his eight Group B matches at the end of the week which left him with four points and a fourth-place finish.

This meant Hall failed to qualify for Finals Night which was won by Conan Whitehead who took home the £20,000 champion’s cheque.

Hall said: “The MODUS Super Series has been a great ride and while I was ultimately unable to qualify for Finals Night, reaching Champions Week was still a great achievement.

“Getting the opportunity to play regularly in front of the cameras and a crowd on a fantastic stage has been a brilliant experience for myself and one that will only have helped me to better my game moving forwards.

“I look forward to returning for the next series and will be giving my all to reach Finals Night.”

Hall joined 11 other players who battled to scoop the title and £20,000 prize on offer.

‘G Man’ won the week three event to qualify for Champions Week which took place at a brand-new, purpose-built venue in Portsmouth.
