CHARLIE Williams scored the first senior hat-trick of his career as Stratford Town kept their play-off hopes alive with a 3-1 win against Alvechurch.
Williams netted a second-half treble in the rearranged fixture after Joe Willis put the visitors ahead at the Arden Garages Stadium.
The game initially took place on Easter Monday only for two players and a supporter to require hospital treatment which led to the abandonment of the fixture.
Despite Stratford leading the original tie 3-0 late on, the Southern Football League ordered both clubs to replay the fixture in its entirety.
And the result means Stratford sit seventh in the Southern League Premier Central table with one match left to play.
The Bards must win on the final day and hope both Harborough Town and Stamford fail to pick up three points to finish in the play-offs.
Church broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark when Willis curled a superb effort into the bottom right corner from just outside the penalty area.
However, the Bards drew level two minutes after half time as Williams struck to level the contest.
And Williams put Stratford ahead on 63 minutes at the home side completed the turnaround.
The Bards extended their lead on 73 minutes as Williams completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot.
Stratford finish the season against St Ives Town on Saturday, April 26 with kick-off at 3pm at Westwood Road.
