Youngsters hot on the case following fire safety talk

YOUNGSTERS were hot on the case following a talk about fire safety at home.

Pupils at Bidford Primary School were visited by firefighters from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue who talked about smoke alarms, electrical safety and a night time ‘turn it off’ routine.

A hazard spotting exercise prompted pupils to carry out a fire safety check at home and their efforts were awarded with a Junior Fire Safety Champion certificate.

And champion Oli Hooper, described as enthusiastic and knowledgeable, was awarded with a trophy and voucher following a prize draw.
