THERE was a sense of fun in the air at the RSC on Saturday as the theatre hosted its first ever Winter Revel.
Taking a leisurely stroll around all the bars and concourses, revellers were able to sample cabaret acts, bands, wandering entertainers and more.
Face-painting, costume displays and a scaled-down model of the town with guests invited to decorate and add a building, all drew interest from the many who came along.
Highlights included some terrific bottle juggling from three cocktails waiters, very sharp improvised songs from Peablossom Cabaret and some jaw-dropping acrobatics.
The silent disco at the top of the theatre’s tower proved a popular attraction as did the chance to tuck into some Mexican food.
Star of the show though, was the theatre itself which looked fabulous and offered a wealth of spaces in which to discover the night’s surprises.
