THE TERRACE in Leamington has been named Best Bar in the West Midlands and Warwickshire.
The Victoria Terrace bar was among 21 independent businesses across the region honoured in the various categories of the much-coveted Muddy Stilettos lifestyle awards.
The Terrace, on the banks of the River Avon, opened just under two years ago following a complete makeover of the landmark building next to Victoria Bridge across the river from the Royal Pump Rooms.
It has quickly established a fine reputation for the quality of its cuisine, served seven days a week and also includes afternoon teas and Sunday lunches, together with a full range of drinks including cocktails.
Readers voted for their favourite local businesses in categories including best destination pub, wedding venue, and yoga studio.
Other award winners in Warwickshire included best boutique stay for The Bridge House in Henley, Cafe on the Corner in Kenilworth for best cafe and readers also voted Nana’s Japanese in Leamington as best casual dining and Suzanne Evetts in Southam as best florist.
Muddy Stilettos Warwickshire and West Midlands editor Laura Kearns said: “These awards began 11 years ago to give local lifestyle indies a chance to shine. It’s been an honour to showcase these most creative, innovative lifestyle businesses in partnership with Tide banking.
“The response to this year’s Muddy Awards has been incredible with thousands voting to support an amazing array of local businesses big and small.”
