Volunteers freshen up charity facilities at Tyler House

Stratford Editorial 16th Dec, 2019   0

VOLUNTEERS pulled up their sleeves to freshen up charity facilities.

More than 28,000 people have used Tyler House since Stratford Samaritans opened its community hub in 2016.

The building – which is also home to charities Lifespace, St Basil’s and Warwickshire Community and Voluntary Action (CAVA) – has been redecorated by a team of 12 volunteers.

Staff from Orbit Group and Bell Group gave their time to paint rooms which are often used by community groups, including those caring for children, older people and those with physical, mental or learning disabilities.

Tyler House hub manager Clare Neale said: “We are delighted with the result. The team repainted in one day and it all looks lovely and fresh and back to its gleaming best. Everyone did a fantastic job and we are very grateful to both companies for their help.”
