A VALENTINE’S event in Stratford will help raise funds for a charity supporting people with learning disabilities.
Friends of Heart of England Mencap has organised a Valentine’s afternoon tea taking place on Friday February 16 from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at the Rosebird Community Hall.
Guests will be invited to drop in for a cuppa and cake for just £2.50 with pamper goody bags on offer for another £2.50.
Chair Anna Kingsley said: “This is a chance to come along and enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake or two while raising money to fund equipment and activities which directly benefit the local people with learning disabilities supported by Mencap.
“It’s a great chance to come and meet our Friends group too and find out all about our future fundraising and events. We’re always looking for new members and new ideas, an opportunity to meet people and have fun whilst fundraising.”
