A LIVE screening of the Queen’s state funeral is set to take place at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre (RST) in Stratford on Monday (September 19).
Members of the public can book tickets from 10am on Thursday (September 15) via rsc.org.uk or in person from the RSC’s Box Office. Alternatively, they can book by phone from 12 noon by calling 01789 331111.
Tickets are free and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
On the day of the funeral, the building will be open from 10am, with access to the auditorium from 10.15am, ahead of the funeral service between 11am and 12 noon.
The late Queen was Patron of the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) since 1961, when the Company was created.
Apart from the screening, the theatre will be closed on Monday (September 19) with no performances planned in either Stratford or London.
Those who have booked tickets to performances will be offered a refund or the option to rebook.
