MORE than 800 litres of tractor diesel was stolen from a farm in Coughton.
A property on Coughton Fields Lane was targeted between Friday August 17 and Wednesday September 12.
The thieves cut off a padlock to enter the farm before forcing another lock on an outbuilding.
They stole 800 litres of red diesel, which is often used in tractors and construction vehicles, but is illegal to use in cars, trucks and any other vehicle on public roads.
The only difference between regular diesel and red diesel is the colour and price – red diesel costs around 60p a litre to buy.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call 101 and speak to police.
