Stratford Sea Cadets appoint new second-in-command

Shaun Reynolds 23rd Jan, 2017 Updated: 23rd Jan, 2017

STRATFORD Sea Cadets has appointed PO Scott Brazier as second-in-command at the unit.

He replaces Lt Neil Hanson – who has stepped down due to work commitments – as First Lieutenant.

Scott, who has been involved with the Sea Cadets from a youngster, said: “I joined when I was 12. Cadets gripped me in a way that school never could – I loved every second of it.

“Seeing a cadet stand just a little bit taller after a parade, walk with purpose into a competition or take pride in themselves gives me a real buzz.”
