SUCCESS was celebrated as the RNLI in Stratford marked its silver anniversary.
A coffee morning was held at the Town Hall to recognise 25 years of work by the charity.
The event saw a presentation of RNLI award badges and certificates to committee members while six people also received the RNLI Bronze Badge with the Chairman, Cathy Davies, and Treasurer, John Davies, being given Gold Badges.
Adele Fuller, the RNLI Area Manager, said “Volunteers like these are the lifeblood of our charity. The Stratford Branch does such a sterling job raising money and awareness of the RNLI – these awards really are extremely well deserved.
“The courage and commitment of the RNLI’s lifeboat men and women is renowned.
“But we must never forget our crews could not perform their lifesaving role without the dedication of an army of volunteer fundraisers and supporters who are often hard at work behind the scenes.”
