FLEET-FOOTED pupils at Stratford School are dancing on air after recent successes.
Pupils put on their show Accelerate to packed audiences at the RSC’s The Other Place’ theatre. They showcased their talents through a mixture of solo and group dances, and styles including ballet, jazz, tap and contemporary.
And just a few days later they were back on their feet at the finals of the School Games Dance competitions where they won a string of awards.
The team, which also plans to perform at Disneyland Paris for a second time, is through to Redditch Has Talent on July 4.
Curriculum leader Sarah Rainsford said: “We are so proud of our team’s achievements this year. All of the performances and competitions they have entered for they have done extremely well in and it is a testimony to their hard work and enthusiasm for their art. We are looking forward to even greater things in the coming year for them as they develop their skills and new students join the team.”
