PUPILS across Stratford came over all bookish in more ways than one as they joined a World Book Day quiz.
The annual event was hosted by Stratford School with teams from Alveston, Bishopton, Bridgetown, Holy Trinity, Shottery, Snitterfield, Stratford and Wotton Wawen schools competing in full literary dress.
The teams were put through their paces by Mrs Hall, Mrs Hill and Miss Lago over six rounds of quizzing on all aspects of children’s literature.
The winning team came from Stratford Primary including Oliver, Reuben, Edie and Olivia who received a winner’s certificate each.
Alison Hall, who organised the quiz, said: “It was so excited to have the quiz running again and to see the students in their World Book Day outfits. I am very grateful to my colleagues Mrs Hill and Miss Lago for making it a success and of course to our wonderful sixth form students who supported all the schools.”
