THEY’LL be swinging from the monkey bars at Stratford Primary’s new playground.
Pupils and families have spent the last two years raising £20,000 towards new playground equipment.
Through bake sales, fairs, fancy dress discos and quiz nights they have finally reached their goal – and when pupils return in September they will be greeted by a new climbing frame.
Head teacher Emma Cox said: “We are in a very fortunate position to have extremely supportive parents. Their relentless commitment to fund-raising will impact on hundreds of children and their enjoyment at playtime for many years to come.”
