Stratford man charged with attempted aggravated burglary

A STRATFORD man has been charged after police were called to reports of someone with a gun attempting to force entry to a flat.

Jessie Gibson, of Clopton Road, was arrested in connection with the incident, which happened in the same street, shortly after 9pm on Saturday (November 27).

He has now been charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, affray, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and having an imitation firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.

The 22-year-old appeared at Coventry Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Monday) where he was remanded to appear at Warwick Crown Court on December 23.
