Stratford business went barking mad for world record attempt

Stratford Editorial 21st Apr, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

TAILS were wagging at NFU Mutual after staff set a world record this week.

Over 430 staff at the Stratford based insurer donned doggie outfits to break the world record for the most people dressed up in dog costumes.

And in doing so staff also managed to raise some £3,000 for the company’s chosen charity, Guide Dogs.

Councillors Kate Rolfe and Ian Fradgely took on the roles of independent verifiers to count the number of people in costume.

The previous record stood at 264 people but the company will have to wait a few weeks for Guinness World Records to officially confirm the record has been broken.

Staff who took part received a certificate as a memento from the day.
