WOULD-BE astronomers can gaze upon the stars together this month.
The Stratford Astronomical Society is inviting people to join them for a weekend of stargazing from January 13 to 15 during the BBC programme Stargazing Live.
The evening events will feature astronomical talks and games, plus the chance to see the heavens through powerful telescopes and binoculars. The group are hoping the skies will be clear enough to see the Andromeda Galaxy, the Orion Constellation and the Nebula which is a star formation region.
Binary Stars as well as other constellations and their main stars will also be visible.
The events are free to attend and run from 6.30pm to 10pm at Henley Golf and Country Club.
