Friends to take on hairy charity challenge

Stratford Editorial 5th Jun, 2018 Updated: 5th Jun, 2018   0

BEARY brave friends will be embarking on a hairy journey.

The group from Stratford – who call themselves the Bear Club – are taking on the three peaks challenge to support the battle against cancer on June 10.

The eight-strong team will claw their way up Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, the three highest peaks in the UK, in just 24 hours.

The journeyers – some of who have been impacted by cancer – are raising funds for Balls to Cancer and Breast Cancer Now.
