Spaniel cuddles are bound to per-suede you

POOCHES at Dogs Trust Kenilworth have got their paws crossed 2022 will mean, not only a new start, but a new home too.

Staff at Dogs Trust Kenilworth – who have around 120 dogs in their care – are calling on dog lovers who want to welcome a furry friend into their life in 2022, to consider adopting a rescue dog.

Following our previous four-legged festive campaigns – which have seen dogs rehomed as a result – the Observer is once again showcasing potential canine companions in the hopes readers, with a paw-shaped hole in their heart, might consider taking one home.

Seven-year-old Spaniel Cross, Suede, is a handsome, intelligent and very energetic boy who also likes cuddles and playing with his toys. Unfortunately, Suede has been in and out of kennels for most of his life so is looking for a stable new home with patient owners who will let him take things at his own space when it comes to getting to know them as he is wary of people he doesn’t know. He would love to be walked in quiet areas and would like an adult only home where he won’t be left home alone, particularly as he settles in, as he doesn’t like to be without his human pals. Suede would suit a quiet rural home away from urban life and busy roads so he can fulfil his potential – which he has bags of! He will need to meet his new owners at the rehoming centre several times before heading home.
