THE SOUND of music will be in the air in Stratford this summer.
Avon Valley Brass Band will kick off this year’s summer programme of music on the bandstand on Sunday (May 29).
They are followed by bandstand regulars The City of Birmingham Brass Band on June 12 and the Stratford Concert Band who are set to play on June 26.
The bandstand is owned by Stratford Town Trust, which awards a grant each year to enable the free performances to take place between 2.30pm and 4.30pm on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays.
Concerts are weather permitting.
