LIONS have changed paws as a new president took the reins.
Shakespeare Lions President Anne Turner handed over the chain of office to Kelvin McIntosh, at a changeover at the Oaks Golf Club.
During her year in office, Anne has supported campaigns including ‘defibrillator life skills’ in schools and for the new Stratford hospital.
Kelvin who has been a member since 2005, is the group health and safety officer and said he intended to continue support for the causes.
Kelvin has been a member of Shakespeare Lions since 2005. He joined after retirement from the National Grid where he was health & safety officer. . He was chairman for the Stratford & Wellesbourne Raft Race in 2016 which resulted in £13,000 being raised for charity.
