RUNNERS in Stratford are taking a break from training for the London Marathon to enjoy a slice of cake or two.
Georgina Mason, who has Multiple Sclerosis, and Dominic Osborne are hoping to continue their fundraising efforts for the MS Society ahead of their big run with a Cake Break.
The pair want to raise £4,000 for the charity and are inviting people to enjoy a slice of cake and a hot drink with them on April 1 from 9.30am to 12.30pm at the Rosebird Community Hall.
A raffle with prizes including chocolates and John Lewis vouchers will also feature.
