Roof cut from car to remove casualty following Stratford crash

THE ROOF had to be cut from a car to remove a casualty following a crash in Stratford.

Two vehicles were involved in the smash at the junction of Birmingham Road and Joseph Way at around 5pm yesterday (Tuesday), with one car wedged into railings close to the pedestrian crossing.

A man and a woman had to be taken to Warwick Hospital – one after being cut from the car by firefighters.

A man and child were also assessed at the scene by paramedics and discharged.
