Retailer urges Henley residents to nominate local heroes

COMMUNITY heroes are being called on in Henley.

Furnishings retailer HSL Henley-in-Arden is calling on the community to nominate community members who have gone to great lengths to support others during the pandemic.

Staff at the high street shop want to recognise the kindness and extraordinary efforts some people have shown, to ensure their family, friends have neighbours have access to everything they need.

Head of retail Matt Farrar said: “During these turbulent times, we’ve seen our local community come together to support each other more than ever before – whether that’s through a friendly phone call, picking up a neighbour’s shopping, or going out of their way to care for someone in need.

“At HSL, we think that these acts of kindness, no matter how big or small, should be celebrated. That’s why we’re looking for the community hero of Henley-in-Arden and want to urge as many people as possible to nominate someone they think warrants the title – we can’t wait to hear their heart-warming stories.”

The chosen community hero will be gifted with a luxury hamper of goodies. They will also be in with a chance of receiving a bespoke, handmade chair of their choice from the store.

Visit www.hslchairs.com/nominate-a-hero to nominate someone before November 23.
