POLICE are appealing for information following a crash which killed a man from Wellesbourne.
The 28-year-old died after the silver Ford Focus he was driving left the road and hit a tree in Newbold Road, between Wellesbourne and Newbold Pacey, at around 10.30pm yesterday (Sunday).
The driver was confirmed dead at the scene.
The 24-year-old passenger, was cut out the car and taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the car in moments leading up to the incident should call police on 101.
