Police appeal for information from people who helped man following assault

KIND-HEARTED residents who helped a man after he was assaulted in Stratford are being asked to contact police to help with their investigation.

At around 9.30pm on Friday April 28, a man was reportedly assaulted in Bell Court, leaving him with a fractured jaw and other injuries.

Several members of the public reportedly assisted the man and helped him get to his feet.

A suspect has already been arrested and officers believe the people who helped the victim may have vital information that could further aid the investigation.
