Police appeal after woman bitten by dog in Wellesbourne

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was bitten by a dog in Wellesbourne.

The victim as walking her dog on Mountford Sports Field when a black Labrador approached her and bit her on her knee on Friday January 15 at around 11.15am.

The Labrador and its owner – believed to be a white woman in her late 50s or early 60s, with short grey hair – then left the scene.

The woman required hospital treatment for the injury




Enquiries are ongoing and any witnesses or anyone with information should call police on 101.
