RECORD-breaking dogs put their best paw forward to take part in the world’s biggest ever dog photoshoot.

More than 800 dogs were believed to have descended on Warwick Racecourse for the shoot in an attempt to beat the current Guinness World Record of 374.

Charity Guide Dogs organised the event and hoped to raise £420,000 at the event – enough to fund seven puppies on their journey to support someone with a visual impairment.

Charity spokesman Peter Emmett said: “It was fantastic to see so many of our guide dog owners and volunteers alongside pet dog owners helping us to hopefully become record breakers.

“With this kind of support, we can reach even more people with sight loss and make sure they don’t feel left out of life.”

Judges from Guinness World Records are set to confirm figures from the event over the coming weeks.
