New Southam website designed to promote town and its heritage

Stratford Editorial 10th Nov, 2015 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

EVERYTHING there is to know about Southam can now be found online.

Volunteers from Southam and surrounding villages have come together to create a new website to promote the town and its heritage.

The website provides information about local history, businesses, community groups as well as events, which can be listed free of charge.

Chair of the website group, Coun Dave Riches, said: “South Warwickshire, and in particular the Southam area, has such a lot to offer with many thriving villages and towns, independent businesses, a fascinating history, beautiful countryside and a real sense of community.

“We rightly want to show others just what we have to offer and southam.co.uk is the culmination of much effort from people who really care about their community.”
