New service to help people in Warwickshire recover from addiction

Stratford Editorial 22nd Jul, 2018   0

A NEW drug and alcohol service has been launched to help people recover from addiction.

Pathways is Warwickshire County Council’s new service which helps rehabilitate people south of the county by providing more joined-up care from healthcare providers.

Health and social care spokesman Coun Les Caborn said: “Warwickshire Pathways is a key part of the council’s commitment to keep all its residents healthy and in prioritising help to the most vulnerable people in our communities.

“We work closely with service users, their families and partners within health, social care, housing, employment and the criminal justice system, delivering outcomes that positively impact on an individual’s health and well-being and on those of society as a whole.”
