Murder investigation launched after man found stabbed in Hatton Park

A MURDER investigation is underway after a man was found stabbed in Hatton Park.

Paramedics were called to a house in Blackwell Lane on the estate near Warwick at around 11pm on Saturday night (May 2).

They found a man in his 50s suffering from stab injuries. He was taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire where he later died.

A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody.

The identity of the victim is known, but formal identification is yet to take place. A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
