CARERS across Stratford have received the backing of local MP Nadhim Zahawi who has promised to help ensure they are getting enough support.
The Stratford MP met with various charities in Parliament as part of Carers Week, which runs from June 9 to 15.
He said: “The contribution that carers make to our communities is hugely valuable and it’s vital that they get support they need to carry on the fantastic work they do – without carers the UK would face a £119billion care bill. That is why I am supporting this campaign to reach out to carers across Stratford and help ensure they don’t miss out on support.”
One in eight adults are carers and without support it can have a serious impact on their health, work and finances.
