Missing Stratford woman found safe and well

Stratford Editorial 26th Sep, 2015 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016

A MISSING Stratford woman has been found safe and well.

Moira Nolan – also known as Mary – was last seen around 11.30am on Friday (September 25) at the market near Rother Street.

The 82-year-old from Wootton Wawen was known to suffer from dementia and had become separated from her husband while out.

But after police launched an appeal for help, the pensioner was found by a police dog handler in woods on the edge of Welcombe Golf Course around 2pm on Saturday (September 26).

She is now recovering in hospital.

Warwickshire Police would like to thank everyone who assisted in the search and shared the appeal.
