THE LOXLEY Neighbourhood Development Plan has been adopted.
The Loxley Neighbourhood Development Plan is the 16th to be made in the district and is the culmination of five years’ work by the parish council, neighbourhood plan steering group and the local community.
The plan now forms part of the Development Plan for Stratford district and will be used in the determination of planning applications within the parish of Loxley.
Neighbourhood plans are a key component of the Localism Act, which aims to devolve greater powers to councils and communities.
Voters in Loxley went to the polls in February with nearly nine in ten of the 118 parishioners who voted in in favour.
