POLICE are investigating the death of a 20 year-old man at the Global Gathering dance festival.
The man was taken from the Long Marston event to Warwick Hospital by ambulance after becoming unwell at about 11pm on Friday July 25 – the first day of teh fetsival which ran until the early hours of Sunday.
Despite attempts to save him, he was declared dead at the hospital just after 1am on Saturday (July 26).
The death is currently being treated as unexplained and a post mortem is due to take place. The man’s next of kin have been informed.
