NATURAL phenomena dating back millions of years in Warwickshire will be explored during GeoWeek.
Warwickshire Geological Conservation Group (WGCG) is inviting residents on a series of free walks to discover the secrets behind the local landscape.
The nationwide event invites the public to understand how geological processes have shaped the land over millenia.
Walks include ‘Kenilworth Rocks – Meet ‘The Stones’’ on Thursday May 9 from 2pm to 3.30pm, from Abbey Fields Car Park.
There is also the chance to find out about the history of gold mining in Burton Dasset Hills on Sunday May 12, from 10.30am until midday, from the tower car park.
