Four arrested in Stratford-on-Avon drugs raid

POLICE arrested four people following a drugs raid in Stratford.

Officers seized a quantity of what was believed to be class A drugs during a search of a flat on Masons Way.

The raid was part of an intelligence led operation to address the supply and use of drugs in the town.

A 35-year-old man from Stratford was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug and possession of class A drugs.

A 16-year-old boy from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

Another 16-year-old boy from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.

And a 44-year-old woman from Stratford was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at court.

Sgt Simon Ryan said: “This operation is driven by information provided by local people. All information provided helps us to get a better picture of problems in the town.

“If you have any concerns about the use or supply of drugs please let us know.”
