Four arrested after police pursuit of vehicle with stolen motorbike on board

FOURĀ  arrests were made following a police pursuit after a motorbike was stolen in Stratford.

The Yamaha was taken from Bridgefoot and loaded onto a vehicle at around 4pm on Tuesday. The vehicle with the motorbike on board was spotted as it left Stratford along the A3400 and headed through Henley towards Birmingham.

Officers from Warwickshire Police’s Roads Policing Team and Vehicle Crime Team set off in pursuit, during which the stolen motorbike and other items were thrown at officers.

The vehicle was eventually brought to a halt by officers from West Midlands Police in Shirley and the four men were arrested.




A 17-year-old boy and a 22 year-old man, both from Shirley, and two 20-year-old men from Birmingham, were arrested on suspicion of theft and remain in custody.
