Fancy dressed villagers raise a smile and cash for NHS frontline staff and volunteers

Ian Hughes 30th Apr, 2020

WELL fancy that! – and they did in a south Warwickshire village.

Residents in Ettington put on their best fancy dress outfits to run or walk around the village – socially distancing of course – to show their appreciation for NHS staff and volunteers.

Some 40 villagers took part, which helped lift the lockdown blues, and which also raised £400 for Warwick-based NHS Charities Together – which supports NHS staff and volunteers on the frontline in the fight against Covid-19.
