A SCRAPBOOK is among items showcasing what life in Stratford was like during First World War features in a new exhibition.

The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust (SBT) is displaying objects, documents and photographs at the exhibition which runs at Hall’s Croft until next year.

The items will give an insight into the experiences of Stratford’s soldiers, nurses and residents and the impact war had on the town.

Townspeople can visit the exhibition for free this weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

And new volunteers are needed to help with research, record information and run the exhibit.
