Exhibition in Leamington marks second anniversary of the Ukraine War

REFUGEES voices are taking centre stage at a Leamington exhibition to mark the second anniversary of the Ukraine war.

The Ukraine 24.2.24 exhibition aims to highlight diverse stories of resilience and hope through video interviews with refugees from around the world who have made their home in Leamington.

The exhibition is being held at the Artstrail Gallery in Royal Priors Shopping Centre where a space has been curated, in collaboration with the Ukraine and Polish communities, that weaves the pre-war with the intense reality of war’s aftermath, reflecting on the resilience and transformative spirit of those affected.

The exhibition invites visitors to engage with photography, paintings, and video interviews of the war. It also features a unique interactive art installation as a platform to allow visitors to anonymously leave messages to world leaders.

These messages will be sent to the respective recipients at the end of the exhibition.

The exhibition is open daily from 11am to 5:30pm.
