VOLUNTEERS at Shakespeare Hospice have been thanked for their dedication.
And the Shottery-based hospice, which provides palliative and supportive care to over 1,000 patients and their families across south Warwickshire and the north Cotswolds, is keen to welcome new volunteers.
Chief executive Angie Arnold, speaking during national Volunteers Week, said: “Members of the community bring a wonderful diversity of skills which help The Shakespeare Hospice to address a growing need.
“Volunteers form the backbone of our organisation and whatever role they choose, they can be confident in knowing that they are a vital element in assuring the Hospice delivers the highest quality of care and support to its patients and their families.”
