Cyclist rushed to hospital following crash

A CYCLIST has been rushed to hospital following a crash with a car in Alcester.

The accident happened on Captain’s Hill near the junction with Throckmorton Road around 12pm today (June 28).

The cyclist – a man in his 50s – was treated at the scene for neck and shoulder pain before being taken to hospital.

The driver was unhurt and discharged by paramedics.
