DEDICATED residents are being called on to make a difference in the district.
Stratford District Council is asking residents to consider standing for election as a district or parish councillor next year.
A prospective councillor event will be held at the council house in autumn before the elections in May.
Stratford has 36 councillors, each representing a particular ward in the district, while most parishes have a parish or town council ranging from five to 18 councillors.
Election spokesperson David Dalby said: “Councillors come from all walks of life, which is very important because having a diverse range of local people to reflect different points of view can help all district residents. So why not find out what it takes to be a councillor and how you can make a difference – it might be the best decision you ever make.”
