THRILL-SEEKING students from Stratford College undertook a gruelling expedition around the Peak District to hone their teamwork and navigation skills.
The public services students took on a 48-hour trek across the national park, navigating themselves through the countryside to a final checkpoint, while battling with torrential rain.
Throughout their hike, they faced a variety of problem-solving challenges, set by their lecturers, including evacuating a staged casualty and treating burn injuries.
The adventurers found a suitable camping spot, and prepared a hot meal before continuing to the pick up point.
The course aims to prepare students for entry into a number of roles including in the armed forces, police and the ambulance service
