SOUTHAM College has been praised for its cultural values and focus on global issues.
The college received an ‘International Schools Award’ from education organisation the British Council.
It recognised their dedication to multiculturism including activities on ‘Chinese New Year’, ‘International Day of Languages’ and ‘World Kindness Day’.
And students enjoyed many overseas trips to destinations including Iceland, Lithuania, New York, Ghana and the Battlefields in France & Belgium.
A spokesperson for the college said: “Southam College is committed to learning more about global issues, celebrating the rich and diverse heritage represented in communities throughout the globe, respecting and valuing different cultures & beliefs and enjoying contact with international individuals.
“We look forward to even more exciting international projects in the future.”
