Coffee house to host road safety event

Stratford Editorial 25th Apr, 2019   0

AN EMERGENCY services day is being held at a coffee house in Ettington.

Staff at Caffeine and Machine are hosting the event on Sunday (April 28) to raise awareness and promote road safety.

A number of organisations are set to attend including Ettington Community First Responders, Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service and Warwickshire Police.

A live scenario known as ‘Operation Think’ will be played out in front of customers as well as interactive activities.

Business manager Claire Udell said: “One of our main aims is that we want to place a real focus on vehicle accidents and road safety to really send home to our visitors just how serious things can be when things go wrong out on the roads and also the devastating effects these incidents can have on not only themselves, but their families, friends, witnesses and the incredible teams of emergency services and medical angels who are there to pick up the pieces.”

The event starts at 9am.
